I think my boss is avoiding paying me because money is tight at the school right now. I need my check. Its as simple as that.
Business is incredibly slow right now. Hopefully it is short term. I would have hoped to have been flying all day today, but there were just no students. However, I did manage to get some ground school on the schedule for tonight. It doesn’t help the logbook, but it helps the pocketbook. So, I am going to teach a couple hours of instrument stuff to a guy tonight and should make a bit of coin off of it. Then, a repeat tomorrow night. Saturday is decent, as far as flying goes, and Sunday looks pretty good. Hopefully it’ll pick up really soon.
Whatever I can do to make money is a good thing, especially in light of this multiengine expense.
Despite the ups and downs, I still consider myself very lucky to be making money as a pilot.
