In recent days, I’ve been in touch with a captain from a regional airline who has offered to forward my resume on to the man in charge of hiring pilots. My total time is not quite what they publish as “hiring minimums”, however, the word is that my times are competitive for entry level FO jobs.
I am enjoying my position at the flightschool for now, but truth be told, I am ready for a change. I’ve given so much attention to how I am going to get quality time in my log book, a.k.a multiengine time (turbine time too). As I’ve begun to fly some more multiengine time, I find myself longing more and more to experience flying larger/faster equipment in a more professional environment. This increasing desire makes me want to head off into the airline world and really start towards some impressive qualifications.
